God is a spiritual being

John 4:24 talks about God being a spirit and how we should worship in the spirit.

Angels are not from this world.

Heaven and hell are not from this world.

Therefore we must be equipped beyond this world.

God uses His angels (He can use anything and anyone:as in Gideon with dew, dinosaurs, watr,...rainbows, etic for His Glory [Romans 9:19-23]). These angels protect His people and carry out His plan.

Yet the devil also uses things beyond this world, fallen angels (and is a demonic angel himself) to carry out his plans for destruction. The devil's goals is to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to get back at God and scatter the flock.

We cannot just assume everything is okay, but must see things beyond the natural. The more you seek God, the more you will find. This is not new age spiritualism, but christianity. God- the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, wants us to have faith, be on guard, and to obey His will. The Lord has given us gifts, help, and tools to live a full, sound life, what a blessing it would be to 1. know that they are there and 2. actually use them for His glory! [Bible verses about spiritual equipment, gifts, and food]

  • The Holy Spirit

    • "But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you." (John 14:26, NLT)

    • And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. (John 14:16-17, NIV)

    • "But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." (Galatians 5:18, NIV)

    • "So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants..." (Galatians 5:16-17a, NLT)

  • Fruit of spirit

    • "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!" (Galatians 5: 22-23, NLT)

  • Spiritual gifts

    • "Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor]. "( 1 Peter 4:10, AMP)

    • There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have. (1 Corinthians 12:4,7,11, NLT)

  • Armor & Weaponry

    • "We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments." (2 Corinthians 10 3-4, NLT)

      • VV.3-4 Amplified Translation: "For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. 4The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses."

    • "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." (Ephesians 6-11-13, NIV)

      • v. 13 Message Translation: "Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet."
